Art of Dance Exhibition

Rotary Club of Caulfield - Support for Visual Art Through Themed exhibitions

The Rotary Club of Caulfield Inc has a long history of arts related projects from fundraising art shows, to dance and music concerts and support for the visual arts through its establishment and maintained connection with the Glen Eira Artists' Society Inc.

The Club has now moved to a new phase in its support for visual art by presenting non-fundraising themed exhibitions to reflect and represent the Club’s commitment to-

  • Using art in its myriad styles and forms to capture  both the commonality of life and creative interpretive ideas
  • Provide information to the general public to broaden the public perception of the cultural place of art.
  • Challenge artists to go outside their comfort zone and experiment with their style and use of different mediums
  • Vocational Service. Rotary International has long supported vocational service in recognizing the worthiness of all useful occupations and how these vocational talents can be contributed, ethically, to the problems and needs of society. Artists have always been at the forefront of social change, pictorially heralding issues and the world around them seen at its most stark. The Club seeks to provide opportunities for artists to develop professionally in their vocation.

The first of these themed exhibitions will be the Art of Dance Exhibition -3-20 August, 2017.

There is Free Admission and it is at the Glen Eira City Council Gallery Annexe

Cnr. Hawthorn and Glen Eira Roads, Caulfield.

Hours  are 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 1pm to 5pm Saturdays and Sundays
