2017 and Beyond

Peter Frueh District Governor 2017-2018

As the 2017 year comes towards an end, out thoughts go toward family, a work break or holiday and what we have achieved in 2017 and can look forward to in 2018. Anne and I have completed our club visits and are amazed at the range of projects we have seen, the spirit and friendliness of the Rotarians and partners we have met in our District. It is a privilege to be amongst so many positive people who are "Making a Difference".

Today at Donations in Kind, Anne and I were amongst about twenty Rotarians from half a dozen clubs, working together to help clean out the remnants of Shed 40 as we prepare for the move to Shed 39. What an amazing project to be a part of. Improving the lives of tens of thousands of people and recycling otherwise wasted goods.

Anne and I would like to wish you and your family all the best in this holiday period. Stay safe and reach out to help others for whom this period can be trying. We are looking forward to 2018 and I hope you are also. Thank you for your service through Rotary and I hope we can meet again in 2018.
