Club Incorporation & By-Laws

The Rotary International Council on Legislation meets every three years. Subsequent to Council meetings there are usually changes to the RI Standard Constitution, which necessitates each Club to amend their Constitution and Bylaws.

The District has arranged for Ross Blair of McKean Park Lawyers to be available to provide legal services at very competitive rates to assist Clubs to ensure that their Constitution and Bylaws comply not only with Rotary International requirements but also with legal requirements of the Associations Incorporations Reform Act 2012.

There is much material relating to Clubs’ incorporation, Rules and Bylaws and Clubs’ reporting obligations in the District 9800 Club Administration Guidelines Manual but if Clubs need further advice, the current manual can be downloaded here or Clubs can contact Past District Governor Dennis Shore (Hawthorn).
